Women’s Tuesday Group

November 14, 2023 @ 9:45 am - 11:30 am
‘Many Bible readers struggle to understand the book of Revelation. But it was written to reveal, not hide, what Jesus wants us to know. And it holds out a promise to those who will hear and keep what is written in it– the promise of being blessed.’
This term in women’s group we are taking up the challenge and studying the book of Revelation, using Nancy Guthrie’s book ‘Blessed: Experiencing the promise of the book of Revelation’ to help us along the way.
What does it look like to be part of the study?
No previous Bible study experience necessary- all questions are welcome as we’re all learners together!
To get the most out of our time in Revelation there is weekly homework to complete.
This consists of:
  • – reading the passage,
  • – answering 6-8 questions on the passage (provided)
  • – then reading/listening to the chapter of the book.
This should take approx 1hr -1hr 15mins per week.
When we meet we will then go through our homework, the main points of the book chapter, discussion questions and pray.
If you would like to join us as we dive into this study, you’d be warmly welcomed, so please do come along on a Tuesday morning 9.45-11.30.
The resources you will need include the book and study. Printed copies of the study are £3 available from Jo True.
All ages and life situations welcome with no special Bible experience necessary! If you have preschoolers, we help one another out in caring for them as we study too.
We meet in one another’s homes, term time, meeting a little earlier 9.45, for 10 am start, 11.30 finish.
