“Love is as strong as death” (Song of Songs 8:1-14)

March 20, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Our weekly Sunday gathering as a church family at Avenue Primary School – right in the heart of Clarendon Park. We gather for worship, prayer and hearing from God’s word together.  Meeting 10.30am-12pm.

Nothing can separate us from the passionate love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We will also be celebrating the Lord’s Supper during this service.

  • We’ll celebrate the Lord’s Supper after the sermon in our time of response to God’s word
  • The bread will be gluten-free and the wine will be grape juice.
  • We’ll distribute the pre-cut bread using tongs, and use individual cups for the fruit juice.
  • We’ll remember and celebrate Jesus’ saving death on the cross for us and his ongoing presence with us as we eat and drink together

This Sunday’s service will be livestreamed as usual on the Avenue YouTube channel for anyone unable to join us.

Refreshments will be served after the service.  Please bring your own reusable cup with you if you can to cut down on waste.

Primary School Children will meet in the smaller hall at Avenue soon after the all-age slot for games, songs and Bible stories for everyone.

A Creche is available for parents of younger children. There is access to one of the classrooms off the small hall at Avenue, where parents can stay with their own children.

All secondary school age children will stay in the service – with question sheets to help them as they listen to the sermon.
