Women’s Walk

One of our Core Values at Avenue is loving family, and one way we like to grow in this is by spending time together. So as part of this, on the 26th of February there is going to be a women’s walk together. The plan is to start at Canal Street Car Park at 10.30am, near Aylestone Meadows, walk up to Jenno’s Coffee House, have a light lunch together, then head back for 2.30pm. This is open to all women and girls age 11+ at Avenue, but also a great opportunity to invite friends along too.

If you are interested in coming along in please contact me, Jo True as soon as you can, or by Wednesday the 23rd so we have a good idea of numbers. If you realise you are able to come last minute after this deadline you are still welcome!

If you are unable to participate in the walk but would like to join us for lunch, we aim to be at Jenno’s Coffee House for about 12 noon.

Meet at Canal Street Car Park, LE2 8BS, Saturday 26th February, 10.30am.

The round route is about 4.5-5 miles, but unfortunately not pushchair friendly. Sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing are recommended.

There is Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan food options available in addition to the usual menu to buy at Jenno’s Coffee House.
