We love children and young people at Avenue and we are committed to “telling the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD” (Psalm 78:4).  

We’re committed to:

Faithful Bible teaching – teaching the Bible (all of it!) to children and young people in a way that is
appropriate for their age and understanding

Partnership with parents and families – we want to partner with parents in discipling their children and young people by helping them learn about Jesus 

Good safeguarding practice – we want all our children’s and youth groups to be safe places to learn about Jesus

Sharing the gospel and our lives with children and young people – through teams of volunteers who teach, pray for, and model to the next generation what it means to trust in Jesus in our daily lives

Above all, we love children at Avenue because Jesus loves children (see Mark 10:13-16) – and so we seek to love them the way Jesus first loved us.
