Students from the University of Leicester and De Montfort University are an integral part of our church family; everything that we do is done with you in mind.
Because of this, we don’t offer an “alternative track” or “student deal” here, but consider you part of the family: worshipping, learning and serving alongside everyone else.

It is a wonderful privilege that students from all over the world join us at Avenue. Throughout the year we lay on a number of special services to introduce international students to the Christian faith, and many join us for our regular services too.
We take part in the FOSSIL (friends of overseas students in Leicester) programme which gives international students the opportunity to visit a British home and to enjoy the hospitality of a British family.
We also support ‘Globe Cafe’ for international students on Monday nights at 7.30pm at Trinity Hall, Leicester.
Christianity Explored is a seven-week course for anyone who wants to think about the meaning of life. You can ask any questions you like, or you can just sit and listen. It might just be the best news you’ve ever heard.
Homegroups exist at Avenue to help us listen to and live out God’s word in our life together.
We encourage everyone at Avenue to be part of a Homegroup.
