At Avenue we see the importance of women investing in and discipling one another within our church community. Whether this happens through formal or informal gatherings, we aim to encourage one another to grow more Christ-like through teaching, bible study, prayer, and sharing the joys and struggles of life with one another.

We organise a range of women’s social events throughout the year so that we can deepen our friendships within the church. It’s also a great opportunity to introduce our wider friends to our church family.

The formal regular opportunities for women only discipleship currently consist of:

• Women’s Bible Study on a Tuesday morning.
• Whatsapp and evening in person book groups.
• Prayer triplets and one-to-ones.
• Walks together
• Breakfast and testimony mornings

We want to grow and be equipped for every good work God has prepared for us – so if you have any ideas of how you would like to serve, areas you would like to grow in or need help or prayer – please get in contact as we’d love to hear from you and how we can help one another to become more like Jesus.
