Theme of the service – “Jesus is God’s special King who demands a response from each one of us.”
Our weekly Sunday gathering as a church family at Avenue Primary School in the heart of Clarendon Park. Meeting 10.30am-12pm for worship, prayer and hearing from God’s word together.
Children in primary school will meet in the smaller hall soon after the all-age slot for games, songs and Bible stories for everyone.
A creche is available for parents of younger children. There is access to one of the classrooms off the small hall.
Children in year 7 and above will stay in the service – with question sheets to help them as they listen to the sermon.
Refreshments will be served after the service. Please bring your own reusable cup with you if you can to cut down on waste.
Christianity Explored is a seven-week course for anyone who wants to think about the meaning of life. You can ask any questions you like, or you can just sit and listen. It might just be the best news you’ve ever heard.
Homegroups exist at Avenue to help us listen to and live out God’s word in our life together.
We encourage everyone at Avenue to be part of a Homegroup.
